Amazon expert switches to Ginmon

The capital markets are becoming increasingly fast-paced, which is why the integration of a powerful IT infrastructure in the financial sector is gaining importance.

“Financial institutions are increasingly becoming technology companies. In this field, we have the upper hand and with Dmitriy Fot, we are further extending that advantage,” comments Lars Reiner, CEO and founder of Ginmon, on the personnel decision.

Ginmon's approach is to offer asset management through technology that has previously only been available to a select few exceptionally wealthy individuals.

“Digital process optimization forms the basis of our business model. The more efficient our platform, the more affordable investment will be for our customers, as the infrastructure dynamically adjusts to the required workload,” he adds.

The demand for IT experts like Dmitriy Fot is correspondingly high. “All the more, I am pleased to welcome him to our team as CTO.”

Data protection is of utmost priority

The increasing digitization also poses significant challenges, especially regarding IT security.

Too many providers, according to Lars Reiner, still take the issue of data security lightly. “Amazon Web Services is the undisputed market leader in cloud infrastructure and IT security.

The data centers are located here in Frankfurt and comply with all regulations regarding European data protection. For us, security is of utmost priority,” says Lars Reiner.

The cloud architect Dmitriy Fot managed corporate clients at Amazon Web Services and built the cloud infrastructure for several DAX companies during his tenure.

In addition to expanding the cloud infrastructure, Fot will drive the further development of the proprietary technology platform Apeiron®.

Fot also gives a glimpse into his future activities at Ginmon: “To enhance our technological edge, we will extensively further develop our systems and algorithms.

Moreover, the platform will be made even more personalized and intuitive to further improve the already good customer experience.”
